MFA – Graduation project.

This project is of an experimental character, which aims to reflect upon our reading behaviour in an online environment, where we’re valuing fast impressions and the quick read. As a reader in an online context we create our own narrative and stories with fragments retrieved from different context compiled in one coherent context.

The project Making Variable – an act of reading explores and reflects upon online/oversight reading behaviour as a method and possibility to generate content and material. The project is presented in five publications which are dependent of each other for their existent but independent in their experience and concern the reading behaviour in relation to digital/print and tempo/time from the perspective of the readers creative role. Reading becomes looking, text evolves into image, image becomes a visual text.

The publications are based on each other in an order from #1 to #5. They are different reading experiences inspired by online reading behaviour.
